According to Neinheart, you can take your Knighthood Exam if you go see Mihile, the Chief Knight of Light. Better head over to Ereve and meet Mihile.
The Knighthood Exam has started. The test itself is actually quite simple. You just need to reach the end of the Training Forest, enter the 2nd Drill Hall, and defeat the Tiguru inside while bringing back Proof of Exam. Better find 30 Proof of Exams and bring them back to Mihile.
