Quest dialogue

Is the Wolf Cub Meal ready? You should talk to Nanuke of Snowy Whale's Island.
You receive the completed Wolf Cub Meal from Nanuke. This should be enough to raise the Wolf Pup for a bit. You should head to Rien right away and give Pucci the formula. Pucci is probably waiting somewhere around the Snowy Field 2.
Having finished the formula, the Wolf Pup seemed to have taken a liking toward you. Pucci ended up giving you the wolf pup, which he named Werewolf, to raise. You vow to take good care of him.
