When you ask Jane about the book, she says that she gave it to Teo who said he needed it. Ask Teo about the Dragon Types and Characteristics (Vol.II).
Teo says that he borrowed the book because he thought that Maya might be bored and that he gave it to Maya already. Go to Henesys and meet Maya.
