You wonder what Mu Gong is going to say about Shadow Knight's letter. You should meet with Mu Gong on the top floor of Mu Lung Dojo Entrance and find out. You can get there via the shortcut in the back alley that So Gong told you about.

When you ask Mu Gong about the Seal Stone of Mu Lung, he says that Shadow Knight is a dangerous fellow, but tells you that he also has his guard up around you. He also says that he's wants to test you to see if you're trustworthy. All you have to do is beat Mu Gong's Shadow in battle.
